About us

The people behind the software.

Kaino is a software and compliance team from Innsbruck. We build digital products for companies that take reliability as seriously as speed, and we believe the two belong together.

Why we exist

Good software rarely fails because of technology.

It fails because of shortcuts: requirements that were never properly captured. Data protection that only gets checked at the end. Systems nobody understands once they are live. Kaino grew out of that observation.

So we do it differently. We accompany our clients from the first idea into live operations, with certified data protection officers on the team, with architecture decisions built to last for years, and with AI where it delivers measurable value. GDPR and the EU AI Act are part of the design here, not an afterthought.

Kaino is led by Pius Fischer and Florian Köllich. Today we work with companies across industries and sizes, and every project makes us grow a little further.

We are a team with short paths and clear responsibilities. There are no silos here: whoever builds a project also talks to the client. And because good work needs breaks, the foosball table is as much part of the office as the second monitor.

Where we work

Our home: SOHO 2.0.

We work at SOHO 2.0 on Grabenweg, right in Innsbruck’s technology quarter: a planted façade, an open atrium, a roof terrace with a mountain view. A building made for concentration and encounters alike. Our door is always open.
